I love to learn, and I love to teach; this is my inspiration to becoming a tutor and teacher. I derive a lot of enjoyment from helping students understand the concept and seeing the pride they feel when they achieve success. My background is in theater and acting, and I have a unique perspective from outside of the classroom on history and literature as a result. I utilize the same kind of nontraditional approaches in my lessons to help students stay engaged and understand material. I can tutor reading, writing, essays, literature, English grammar, history, geography, public speaking, religions, and test preparation for the ACT and other standardized admissions and assessment exams. When I have some time, I enjoy movies, the theater, sports, literature, and music.
