I've taught for 14 years, and I'm certified as an elementary and middle school teacher. As a tutor, my specialties are math and English language arts. I recently decided to leave the classroom for some personal interests and to have time to tutor students individually. I enjoy helping students by making connections between concepts they understand and those that are new. I also feel rewarded when my students make progress in each session. I enjoy connecting with students, and that was often difficult in the classroom. I'm excited to collaborate with students and help them succeed. In my free time, I enjoy fitness activities such as Zumba.
