I attended The Ohio State University from 2005-2009. During that time, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I graduated in March of 2009 Cum Laude with Honors with a major GPA of 3.72 and cumulative GPA of 3.60. I then attended Ashland University where I completed the Bachelor's Plus Program to receive my teaching license: grades 7-12 Integrated Science.
Experience
I taught at Olentangy Orange High School from 2010-2015. I recently resigned to spend more time with my newborn son. During my time there, I taught and tutored students in Chemistry, Physics, Physical Science and Honors Physical Science. I received an ETS Recognition of Excellence for a Praxis score within the top 15% of all test takers who took the assessment. I graduated valedictorian from Saint Francis DeSales High School in 2005 and earned a composite score of 29 on the ACT.

Hobbies
Teaching is my passion and I truly enjoyed the 5 years I spent as an educator at Olentangy Orange High School. It was a very difficult decision whether or not I wanted to be a stay at home mom but I feel I made the right choice. Now I am excited to get to spend time with my son but also work with students. I have taught students in all grade levels at the high school. I consider myself an outgoing and up-beat individual.
