I am looking forward to working with new students and sharing my experiences in school. I view tutoring as a challenge and understand how new subjects, especially math, can be intimidating and pile on the pressure just when you don't need it. One-on-one tutoring, in my mind, is the most effective form of tutoring and brings the best results. Creating a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for tutoring will put students at ease and help the learning process work a little more smoothly. I am currently in my senior year at Ohio State University studying Actuarial Science and Business. In the insurance industry, actuaries are the ones who decide what the risk levels are for different kinds of insurance. For example, determining how likely you are to have a car accident at a given age bracket. I chose this major because of my passion for math and how extensively actuaries rely on math. I tutor in the areas of Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, College Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1 and 2, AP Calculus, Math, and Science. I do test preparation for the SAT, ACT and ACCUPLACER College Level Math. I enjoy playing sports and working out. I also enjoy cheering on the both the Buckeyes and the Bengals.
