Hola! I am originally from Mexico City. I graduated from Universidad Autonoma de Mexico with a BA in Teaching Foreign Languages. Little did I know, when I selected teaching as my vocation, that foreign languages would be the key to open doors in my life. I was employed as an English teacher and then I became the principal of a Mexican school for eighteen years. Then I began introducing teachers to new teaching techniques. Fate then relocated me to Israel, where I taught Spanish and English and began to study Hebrew. Now, finally in the United States, I teach English to immigrants and Spanish to Americans. My students can't believe how much fun the classes are and how quickly they learn. How do I accomplish this? I believe the secret is that we retain more information and learn faster if we are interested in what we are learning. My students learn about their new languages through culture, songs, games, and food. When you begin to master a foreign language you are introduced to a larger world, a world you want to visit and know more about, a world with new friends and new horizons.My hobbies are cooking, reading, and enjoying nature.
