Experience
Besides graduating summa cum laude, I achieved a 36 on my ACT and a 2300 on my SAT. I have tutored for several years at both the high school and university level in a variety of subjects, including ACT preparation, biology, chemistry, and Spanish. In addition, I have worked as both a peer adviser and teaching assistant, which gives me insight into the learning strategies and study skills that students need to succeed. As a tutor, I like to focus on doing actual problems with students because it is the most effective way to immediately identify their strengths and weaknesses and to address them. I am deeply invested in my students’ success, and I have been proud to have been called or e-mailed several times by ecstatic students thanking me for helping them improve their grades.
