I'm a tutor in the Reynoldsburg, Ohio area who spent one year teaching at the University of Chicago before moving to Ohio in order to pursue a doctorate in philosophy at Ohio State University, where I spent four years teaching. Recently, I took some time off work for personal reflection. I determined that, at heart, I'm a mathematician, so I'm currently pursuing an academic career in mathematics. Education is something that I care about deeply, and I believe that it's a crucial aspect of future financial success. My background in philosophy and teaching, and my current mathematics studies ensure that I am well-qualified to tutor students in a wide variety of subjects. I tutor students in several different math subjects, including arithmetic, pre-algebra, algebra, elementary and middle school math, and geometry, as well as reading, writing, literature, philosophy, social sciences, and English. Additionally, I'm available to work with students who are struggling with grammar and mechanics, and can help college students write and edit college essays.In my free time, I enjoy studying the Ancient Greek language, reading poetry and classic literature, and playing the guitar.
