I have worked as an educator for more than a decade. I have acted as a tutor for most of that time, working with students on a variety of subjects. I am now an adjunct professor at several universities around Columbus, Ohio. I received my bachelor's degree at SUNY Buffalo, and my master's degree at Ohio State University. As a tutor, I worked privately with students in high school, college, and graduate school to improve their Latin and Greek as well as their understanding of history and their writing skills for essays. I try to make a student's toughest academic subjects comprehensible and engaging through their hobbies or interests. I also go over information at the foundation of the subject to ensure that my students understand the basics. By breaking information up into bite-sized pieces, I am able to improve my students' understanding without making them feel overwhelmed. I love education and I love being an educator, and I want to find methods that work for every student so they can learn to love their academics. Not only do I work with students on history and languages like Latin and Greek, but I can also help with literature, grammar and mechanics, government, social studies, social sciences, and college and standardized test skills.
