I attended graduate school at Ohio State University and was a teaching assistant. I led recitation and labs for several classes of 20 to 30 students. I enjoyed working with the students and it was the highlight of my week. Helping them understand the material can sometimes be frustrating, but well worth the effort. When I saw that the students had reached clarity in the concepts, I felt so happy. The small difference in age between myself and my students facilitates making connections with them. I feel this helps in communication and understanding the subject. My laid back style worked well with the students that I have had in the past. The subject areas I have tutoring expertise are Elementary Math, Algebra 1-4, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1-3, Differential Equations, Statistics, Physics, Astronomy, AP Calculus AB, Math, AP Physics 1, Science, and AP Physics 2.
