I currently work within the Columbus City School System. I have worked in a variety of different settings. I provide ESL instruction to students at all grade levels. I am also proficient in various forms of upper level math and I understand the fundamentals for teaching people how to read. I have worked in various classroom settings from preschool to the senior level of high school. I have taught science curriculum. My area of specialty is ESL and reading instruction, English and mathematics.
Experience
I have and still continue to tutor children within the Columbus City School System. I have been working within the system for about 8 years. I have an associate's degree from Ohio Dominican University. I have been tutoring within a professional environment and I know what it takes to really help a child to learn material that can be difficult for them to master. I want to tutor because it is a part of who I am and the role I fulfill in life.
