I have 16 years of classroom experience, having taught a variety of high school English classes. My tutoring has primarily been within the school environment and has consisted of help with everything from reading comprehension, to the writing process, and even study and organization skills. I have enjoyed working with students in this capacity, as it has allowed me to foster their growth on a more personal level. My desire to tutor stems from the experience I had as a high school English teacher. As hard as they try, teachers and others in the school setting are not always able to spend the kind of time with each student as may be necessary for them to gain the most from their experience.
