I love to help students understand and to help them to become not only capable, but also passionate. I want to see our next generations engaged in the critical thinking that it takes to understand and truly grasp the concepts with which they are working. I have spent the last four years in personally mentoring high school students and I look forward to adding a n education component. Although I have personal experience with AP tests and International Baccalaureate classes and tests, I would love to come alongside of students at any level to help them grow and succeed.

I have been playing the guitar and the banjo in a folk band for many years now. I also love cooking, crocheting, film photography, reading, writing, and camping. My favorite thing to do is to spend time with my friends in my free time. My husband and I have two kittens that are quite the handful, but when they aren't causing trouble, we also like to relax and watch Food Network together.
