Brigham Young University-Idaho - Graduated April 2011 with BA in English and an emphasis in Creative Writing. Received MA from The Ohio State University in Slavic Languages and Literature in 2014. Currently a PhD student in the Slavic Languages and Literatures department at The Ohio State University. Expected graduation in 2017.
Experience
Tutored English writing and Russian language at the University level as a Teacher's Assistant. Taught Russian language in individual instruction and classroom. I have taken courses on Shakespeare, English poetry, Russian poetry, English and American 19th and 20th Century literature, and most major Russian authors, including Dostoevsky, Tolstoy and Turgenev. I love teaching, especially literature. I love the energy that comes from a good discussion and unlocking someone's ability to understand a difficult piece of literature.
