Education
I completed a double major, in biochemistry and marine biology, in 1998. This was at the Athens campus of Ohio University. My degrees were conferred with honors. In 2005 I completed my masters degree in biology at the University of South Florida. My masters research was on the presence and function of alkaloids in Scleractinian corals.
Experience
I tutored general chemistry, organic chemistry, and biology while I was an upperclassman at Ohio University. I continued tutoring general chemistry and biology while I was a graduate student at the University of South Florida. Since then I have worked as an adjunct professor of biology at Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, Florida and at Columbus State Community College. I have also run a professional tutoring business for the last five years.
