Experience
I am a teacher of a wide variety of subjects, though I focus on English and Language Arts. I possess a Master of Education from Ohio State University and am certified to teach in Ohio as well. For the last five years, I have been employed at an international high school in the state of Texas. Some of the other subjects I have taught throughout my career include English as a Second Language, Mathematics, History, and Science. I have experience teaching in a plethora of educational settings, including after school programs and private tutoring. On top of my teaching experience, I have experience editing papers as well. The papers I have edited range from high school to college level. I have been nominated for the Teacher of the Year award more than once, and have a vast amount of educational leadership experience. I am incredibly passionate about teaching, and am able to come up with a learning plan for each student based on their individual needs and learning styles. When I am not teaching, I enjoy trying new recipes, interior design, and spending time with my loved ones. I look forward to tutoring my students and helping them reach their full potential.
