I am currently attending Ohio State College of Medicine. Prior to enrolling at Ohio State, I earned my BA in Psychology with English and Biology minors from Washington University in St. Louis, as well as my MS in Biology from Indiana University - Purdue University Indianapolis.Since I have already taken the MCAT and GRE exams, I am prepared to help students who are studying for these tests. The subjects that are of particular interest to me include English, psychology, and biology. I am also able to tutor students in math, science, social sciences, and English-related topics, including reading, writing, literature, and essay writing and editing.In addition to working with tutoring programs as a volunteer, I have also taught piano and tennis. I have tutored my three younger siblings as well.My philosophy of teaching is that until you are able to explain a concept to another person you do not really understand it yourself. This is an approach that I plan to use during each tutoring session.I like to read historical fiction, cook, bake, and sew in my spare time. I also stay active by running, practicing yoga, and spinning.
