I am a tutor who has a gift for solving problems in the career sector. I truly love to train and work with others so they can do well and exceed expectations at their job. In my experience as a tutor, I find that students may have issues if they perceive a subject to be harder than they anticipated, and they can quickly become discouraged. I want to help them move past that. In my sessions, I try to break the problems down, making them more approachable and easier to solve. I know math and science are difficult subjects for many students, and I want to work with those who need help in this area. In the past, I have worked as a team leader, where I would introduce new employees to the company I worked for, train them in their new positions, and work with them so they could improve their performance. Although it was not in a classroom setting, it was very similar to tutoring, and I truly enjoyed it.I offer tutoring in the following subjects: Elementary and Middle School Math, Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1-3, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1-2, Chemistry, Physics, Science, General Chemistry, Test Prep, Science, and AP Physics, and Chemistry.I am a graduate of Ohio State University. There, I earned both my B.A. in Sociology as well as a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. When I'm not working, I like to crafts, bake, and work on my home design and do-it-yourself projects. I also enjoy motorcycles, learning languages (Chinese and Spanish, to be exact), and spending time with my new baby.
