I am a fluent Mandarin speaker, skilled communicator and researcher with teaching experience in both Chinese and English. I just recently moved back to Columbus from studying at the Peking University School of the Arts through which I wrote and defended an 80 page MA thesis entirely in Chinese. I have interpreted for meetings with international artists and corporate sponsors, translated published academic articles from Chinese to English, as well as received high placements for Chinese speech competitions. In terms of teaching, my focus lies in developing and improving conversational abilities with a performance and immersion based approach. This approach allows students to learn Mandarin quickly and efficiently. Passed HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) Level 6
