Experience
While I have never worked as an "official" tutor before, I had a significant amount of experience editing essays and works of fiction for classmates back in college. I am most comfortable working with fiction, but I am perfectly capable of shifting between different writing styles. I can offer tutoring on spelling, grammar, word-choice, content, etc. Since graduating I've had scant few opportunities to work with language, so I'm pretty excited at the prospect of helping folks with their writing! I'm also a musician, with roughly nine years of experience as an acoustic guitarist and four years of experience with African hand-percussion, the Djembe in particular. I can offer beginner lessons for both of these instruments.

What to say? I'm an incredibly laid-back fella! I love the outdoors, I love to read (Stephen King is a personal favorite of mine), I'm a huge movie-buff, I play the occasional videogame here or there, and I love to meet new people. Making people laugh while imparting new knowledge is a legitimate goal of mine, and I hope that the experience I gain from being a tutor will further that desire!
