Experience
I've taken graduate level physics and materials classes, undergraduate calculus, chemistry, and German. I've taught lab courses to university students, both in English and German. I am a visual thinker, and it was great to see that help some of the students when their eyes were glazing over with formulae and dry text. Working in industry has given me a great appreciation for and opportunity to practice communicating complicated concepts in simple terms, meeting people where they are coming from. It's also given me appreciation for the value of time and that perseverance and positivity in the face of inevitable setbacks is more important than the setback itself. As a tutor, I want to share my experiences and mentorship, to elevate students to their individual next levels and help them to build the self-confidence that comes with skill mastery.
