I am licensed by the State of Ohio to teach English/Language Arts for grades 7-12. I want to be a tutor because I want to help students succeed. While I was in school, many teachers helped me achieve more than I envisioned, and I desire to have the same positive influence on children that I tutor. I worked for three years as a substitute teacher, so I have experience examining a student's current understanding of a topic, and helping them gain mastery and complete their assignments.
