Experience
I received a Bachelor of Science in Science and Health Science from Marietta College, and earned a Certificate in Leadership Studies from the Bernard P. McDonough Center for Leadership and Business. During college, I was part of two honor societies in Biology and Psychology. I have extensive experience tutoring undergrad students in biology coursework. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Chiropractic at Logan University. Naturally, my studies are providing intensive exposure to the construction and function of the human body and I have had further opportunity tutoring in pathology coursework. I am fascinated with the human body and how and why they do what they do. I have already finished many anatomy, biology, and physiology courses. As part of a professional tutoring organization, I help students in courses such as anatomy, nutrition, and biology. I always strive to ensure students are well-versed in and understand the basic information of subject material in order to move forward to more complex scenarios. I make generous use of teaching with illustrations and other physical models and encourage students to discover and nurture their most effective learning methods. Outside of class, I like to exercise, try new healthy foods, and spend my down time watching movies.
