I have tutored here and there to anyone who just asks me for help on something they don't understand. I don't have any formal experience though. My major is Human Development and Family Studies with a focus on Family Studies. My ACT score was 22. I want to be a tutor because I love helping people. I want to see kids do well in school and want to be there because they do well instead of hating to go because they don't understand and doing poorly. The subjects of interest is History and study skills. I am also familar with some psychology if needed. Relevant classes I have taken is several classes in History all four years of high school and in college. I watch a lot of History Channel. My freshman year of college I took a course that helped students ease into the college atmosphere. In that class we learned study skills and note taking skills and others that help up succeed in college classes. I have also taken a psychology course in high school and one in college. However, my major is similar to the subject and I study some ideas and theories of psychology and well known psychologists. I will be taking some more classes in the remaining years of college.
