Experience
I have been tutoring students of all ages for over 10 years. After graduating, I gained experience working for a public school district as a teacher's assistant, and also tutored children in English as a second language. I have experience writing my own curriculum and making lesson plans to teach in both individual and corporate settings. I also taught at an English language program at Ohio Dominican University, where I taught beginner through intermediate English skills to adults in a classroom setting. I have been a volunteer English conversation partner for 10 years, and am currently a private ESL instructor in a private school, where I teach students from ages 10 to 18 years old.

Hobbies
I also speak Japanese, have studied German, and enjoy studying languages myself! Learning about other cultures is something that I have always truly benefited from. The most rewarding thing I find about teaching is connecting with my students personally. I believe that teaching is holistic; it is not merely a transfer of knowledge and information. I love teaching English even more so because it is such a significantly necessary skill in this country, and I love empowering my students to be able to go on to do great things.
