I have been a tutor for the past 6 years, and I have experience working with children 5+, high school kids, and adults. I have also been a university-level TA for 2 years for general bio and marine bio. My main subject areas are English (academic writing, grammar, reading, etc), and biological sciences. Proper reading and writing skills are crucial for students today, and I emphasize these methods when I tutor both areas. I also tutor students for SAT/ACT and GRE preparation and give advice on how to study, take notes, etc. Relevant courses: College and Master's level biological science courses, marine bio, general bio, ethical research.
