I earned my bachelor's degree in math at Ohio State University. I'm now studying at the University of Akron to earn my masters degree in math. I love teaching math because I really enjoy the subject and look at it as a game. I believe that an effective tutor is someone who really enjoys the subject, but also can be patient with students to ensure they understand concepts before moving on. I have both of these qualities, and I was inspired by teachers that I had who were very enthusiastic about math. I've been teaching math for the past three years at a learning center, and I have experience working with special needs students. I can tutor algebra, calculus, elementary and middle school math, pre-algebra, pre-calculus, multivariable calculus, ACT prep, GRE prep, and other related subjects. When I have spare time, I like to play squash, watch TV, and bake.
