I went to Ohio University, where I studied American literature and creative writing. I received my bachelor's degree in English, and I was able to really refine my writing skills and learn about a lot of great poets and authors. After graduating, I taught English in South Korea. I had been considering pursuing education as a career, and I found that I really enjoyed it. It was a challenge to learn how to function while developing a command of the Korean language, but I liked that so much that I stayed for four years. During that time, I taught at the middle school level, elementary school level, and tutored students of all ages. I'm now seeking my certification to teach in the state of Ohio. As a tutor, I can assist students with subjects such as English, grammar, literature, writing, essays, reading, ESL, TOEFL prep, GRE prep, and other test preparation. In my spare time, I enjoy practicing photography, exercise, reading, and writing.
