I'm an Ohio State University student studying chemistry. I'm also an energetic and dedicated tutor. I have five years of tutoring experience, and I currently tutor math and chemistry courses on campus. I've also worked with elementary school students, middle school students, and high school students in a number of different subjects. I love learning, and I love to teach. I know that every student learns in their own way, so I make it my responsibility to figure out how students learn best so that I can match my teaching approach. I like to help students develop learning skills in addition to learning the material so that they can become independent learners. I believe students also need to understand the core concepts of the subject to be able to apply their knowledge in any situation without having to memorize everything. I also emphasize helping students develop problem-solving skills by leaving them through problems without giving away answers. In my free time, I like to exercise, swim, play soccer, listen to music, go to the theater, read, and watch movies.
