EducationI completed a double major, in biochemistry and marine biology, in 1998. This was at the Athens campus of Ohio University. My degrees were conferred with honors. In 2005 I completed my masters degree in biology at the University of South Florida. My masters research was on the presence and function of alkaloids in Scleractinian corals.
ExperienceI tutored general chemistry, organic chemistry, and biology while I was an upperclassman at Ohio University. I continued tutoring general chemistry and biology while I was a graduate student at the University of South Florida. Since then I have worked as an adjunct professor of biology at Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, Florida and at Columbus State Community College. I have also run a professional tutoring business for the last five years.
HobbiesIn my free time I read, watch movies, and practice slight of hand. I have been doing magic since I was a child and I find that it helps with critical thinking. I also enjoy physical exercise; I do walking, jogging, tai chi, arnis, and foam rolling. I do a daily meditation practice. I find that meditation helps me to think and is relaxing.

I heard back from him right away and he seemed very knowledgeable although at the time I had already found somebody, but will contact him in the future if I need help!
Outstanding. Always punctual. Puts a very good spin on Organic Chemistry almost making it enjoyable. He understands where help is needed and focuses on that until it is grasped. He is head and shoulders above the professors at Columbus State and Ohio Wesleyan.
