| Experience: | My name is Tony Mascotti and I am a student at The Ohio State University majoring in Actuarial Science, and minoring in economics. I am currently working at the Younkin Success Center, which is a tutoring center for Ohio State student athletes. I tutor student athletes in all Mathematics courses up to and including calculus II, which covers integration. I also tutor microeconomics, macroeconomics and lower level statistics courses. When I was in high school I took many AP tests, including Calculus, Statistics, and Macroeconomics, on which I scored 5, 5, and 4 respectively. I also scored a 1430 on my SAT, verbal+mathematics, including a perfect 800 on the mathematics section. Classes that I have taken in college that would be relevant would include 2 quarters of both microeconomics and macroeconomics, 4 quarters of calculus as well as several other mathematics courses consisting of Linear Algebra, Actuarial Life Contingencies, Theory of Interest, and other courses, 2 quarters of intermediate level statistics and 2 quarters of probability. Starting next quarter I will also be taking Econometrics, which is an advanced level Statistics class with Economics applications. |
