NOTE: I will not be in Columbus until sometime in August 2012. Very few people can say they've been tutored by a National Merit Scholar, but I am offering that opportunity - after achieving a 2050 on my SATs (with a 790 math and 660 verbal), I was awarded the title. I have been tutoring for quite some time now - I started during my Senior year of high school, and at college I worked at the UNR Math Center for a while, and tutored privately throughout. I want to tutor simply because it is rewarding job, to both the student and the tutor - the student receives one on one help that exceeds classroom expectations, while the tutor learns more about the subject they are instructing, in addition to honing their ability to teach.
