ExperienceTutoring English and Biology for 3 years now, and I was a TA for Bio 101 during senior year of college, so I am familiar with teaching and working with students. I have experience with students ranging in age from 5 years old to adulthood.
Biology classes I've taken include: Evolution, Ecology, Biology, Animal Diversity, Animal Form and Physiology, Ornithology, Animal Behavior, Animal Communication, Marine Biology, Cell Biology, Graduate seminar on animal behavior
English Classes: Honors English, AP English, Scored 5 on AP English Exam, Tested out of Freshman writing course at OSU, Earned As in both 2nd and 3rd writing courses at OSU, 93rd and 97th Percentile in GRE Verbal and Writing sections.
Other skills: After finishing a 4-year degree at OSU I gained many useful study skills, so I am willing to assist students in learning how to study. My skills include how to take notes, how to study at home, how to properly conduct research for papers, how to cite properly, how to write research papers and essays, and how to prepare for tests.
HobbiesMy hobbies are many and varied! I have a cute fat cat who keeps me occupied, but I spend a lot of my time working on drawings and paintings and sewing/amigurumi projects. I also love to play video games and watch sci-fi movies, so I am a total nerd at heart :) I have a lot of things to keep me occupied and I'm constantly finding new interests and arts to try out!

Charlotte is tutoring my daughter, a high school junior, in English. They have been working together on writing and on critical reading. My daughter liked her immediately and has found their sessions very helpful. Charlotte is punctual and flexible and we would have no hesitation recommending her.
